Lima (1) – Cusco (2) – Puno (3)

Day 1: Lima. 
Upon your arrival in Lima, a transportation service will transfer you from the airport to your hotel.
Accommodation in Lima.

Day 2: City tour in Lima. 
Visit the most outstanding places in Lima city and let yourself be enveloped by its charm and tradition. Start this tour with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, a magnificent, ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AC. Get to know Colonial Lima visiting its traditional historic center, appreciate the beauty of its Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace and its imposing Cathedral. We will visit an important convent in the city.
Observe the modernity of the city while you take a tour of the residential and financial area of San Isidro and finally get an incomparable view of the Pacific Ocean from the tourist district of Miraflores.

Day 3: Lima/Cusco – City Tour & Nerby ruins.
At the coordinated time, pick up and transfer to the airport in order to board your flight to Cusco. In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco city, an interesting journey where you will learn about Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), ancient place of worship to the Sun, God of the Incas, where the convent of Santo Domingo was built, gaze the beauty of Cusco city´s Main Square and admire the most representative sculptures and paintings of Cusco´s Art inside the cathedral. Touring the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its external walls built with huge stones cut and assembled with stunning precision.

Day 4: Cusco/ Sacred Valley.
Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes, and village customs.
This tour starts with the first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as llamas and alpacas; you will also meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their sites.
The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the chance to shop or buy handicrafts and try the traditional costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You’ll have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire.

Day 5: Sacred Valley/ Machu Picchu/ Cusco.
Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences in the world, Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, crossing picturesque Andean landscapes and then entering the warm and exuberant jungle brow to the town of Aguas Calientes; Board the bus that will take you up a winding road to the top of a mountain, then take some time to simply delight your senses and enjoy the breathtaking view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World. Walk through the Citadel’s go passageways and alleys, witness the architectonic greatness of the Inca Empire and Enjoy this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystical energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
Return in the afternoon to Aguas Calientes to be transferred to the train station and get back to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 6: Cusco/Puno – “The route of the Sun”.
Embark on a comfortable bus and cross beautiful Andean landscapes until you reach the city of Cusco. Along the way, you will explore tourist attractions such as the town of Pukará, where you will have a guided tour of the site museum to appreciate archaeological remains from Andean cultures of the highlands. Next, we will reach La Raya, the highest point of the route (4335 meters above sea level), where we will have about 10 minutes for taking photographs.
Afterward, we head to the town of Sicuani for a typical lunch. We continue the journey to visit the archaeological site of Raqch’i, an Inca construction dedicated to the god Wiracocha. Finishing the trip, we arrive at the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the Church of San Pedro, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7: Puno/ Titicaca Lake (Uros and Taquile Island) /Puno.
Sail the waters of Lake Titicaca, considered the highest navigable lake in the world (3810 meters above sea level). We begin the visit to the island of the Uros, an Aymara ethnic group that lives on floating islands built on the basis of reeds growing in the lake itself; then we continue the tour of the lake to Taquile Island where we will appreciate one of the most beautiful Andean landscapes, with abundant hills and archaeological remains; In Taquile, also inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques. Finally, enjoy a nice typical lunch, made with local ingredients in a local restaurant, then embark back to your hotel.

Day 8: Puno/Lima.
At according time, pick up and transfer to Airport in order to take flight to Lima and connect international flight to return home.
